“Assi nella Manica”: events to promote Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena in London are underway
The first two events in the Emilia Romagna Region Rural Development Project “Assi nella Manica” will be taking place in London at Massimo Italian restaurant and in the Selfridges food hall
London, 5 April 2017 – On Wednesday 5 April, Massimo, the prestigious restaurant and bar of London’s most exclusive hotel, the Corinthia, will be hosting the first events of the “Assi nella Manica” campaign, a promotional project targeting Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Modena.
The evening, dedicated to sector operators and the press, will begin with a talk on the two products and a tasting session, followed by a luxury “four-hands” dinner prepared by the host Chef Adriano Cavagnini and Terry Giacomello, the chef from Parma’s Inkiostro restaurant.
The following day, on Thursday 6 April, staff from the two Consortia will be meeting consumers in Selfridges department store on Oxford Street, demonstrating our products and providing important information on the characteristics that make them so unique. Meanwhile, those present will also be able to taste a dish prepared by Michelin-starred chef Terry Giacomello, who is a member of the Chef to Chef Emiliaromagnacuochi Association - a project partner.
