New event in London for the Assi nella Manica project

The events to promote Parmigiano Reggiano PDO and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO continue in restaurants and delicatessen shops in London.

Reggio Emilia, 2 May 2017 - On Thursday, May 4th, the Petersham Nurseries Cafe restaurant will host the second event in the "Assi nella Manica" project, the calendar of events and tastings in London dedicated to two great PDO products: Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.

 The event, reserved for selected press and operators, will be held at 12:30 pm in the splendid setting of Petersham Nurseries, a picturesque garden located in Richmond, away from the traffic of London, that features a renowned cafe restaurant run by Chef Damian Clisby, whose cuisine is often inspired by Italian food. He will be flanked by guest Chef Daniele Repetti from the Nido del Picchio restaurant in Carpaneto Piacentino (Piacenza), a member of the Chef to Chef emiliaromagnacuochi association.

The two chefs will prepare a lunch that will highlight and interpret Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in their different stages of maturation and ageing.

The day will be an opportunity for the two Consortia to extend knowledge about their products by providing theoretical information and offering a guided tasting of different maturation stages in order to convey an appreciation of the changes that happen thanks to the ageing process.
