Made in Italy products sail the waters of London

On occasion of the mooring in London of the historic ship Amerigo Vespucci, the night event dedicated to Italy and its typical products met with great success.

London, August 20, 2013  - The arrival of the historic training ship Amerigo Vespucci at South Quay (London) on Tuesday, August 6 was welcomed very enthusiastically when it docked bringing a wave of Italian spirit and gastronomic delights with it.

For the occasion, an event was organized with 70 guests from the world of London art and theatre who were able to taste and appreciate Parmigiano Reggiano cheese paired with Italian wines.

The spectacular sailing ship Amerigo Vespucci, owned by the Italian Navy, is used as a training ship for the cadets of the Naval Academy. Launched in 1931, since then the Amerigo Vespucci has been sailing the world keeping the flag of Made in Italy products flying.
