China and Japan: Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese engaged in the Far East

The Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese Consortium will participate in the “Cheese Festa” event on 11 and 12 November in Tokyo, Japan, and in the FHC Fair in Shanghai, China, on 12 - 14 November

Reggio Emilia, Italy, 6 November 2014 – On Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 November, in Tokyo, Japan, the dairy world will be in the spotlight at the Cheese Day celebrations: the 23rd edition of the “Cheese Festa” event, where Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese cannot but be present.

This year, the “Cheese Festa” will be the occasion to award a prize to two food, wine and Parmigiano-Reggiano lovers: Yumiko Obara and Junko Okutsu, two Japanese foodbloggers that participated in the "Parmigiano Reggiano Chef" international food contest.

From 12 to 14 November, in another Country, the star under the spotlight will be the same: Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese will be the topic of workshops and tastings at the FHC Fair in Shangai, China.
This trade fair that each year gathers thousands of players in the hospitality and catering sector will be an important occasion to meet the Chinese market and to increase the knowledge and awareness of the features that make Parmigiano-Reggiano matchless.
