A world success for the web 2.0 dinner that was organized by the Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese Consortium on Saturday 25 October and gathered all lovers of the "King of Cheese" around a huge virtual dinner table to reassert the pleasure of being together following the #dinnertogheter banner

Reggio Emilia, Italy, 3 November 2014 – From New York to Japan, to Berlin, on Saturday 25 October, the whole world celebrated the "Parmigiano Reggiano Night" by organizing a dinner, at home or at a restaurant, to enjoy delicious dished made with the "King of Cheese".

The "Parmigiano Reggiano Night", this year at its third edition, is an occasion for all lovers of this cheese to invite their families and friends to dinner preparing a dish with Parmigiano-Reggiano and celebrating the pleasure of being together. With a dedicated app, the images of one's own dinner could be uploaded and shared through the hashtag #dinnertogheter.

A large number of images were uploaded all over the world: in New York, where a "Parmigiano Reggiano Night" dinner was organized at the "Giovanni Rana Pasta & Cucina" Restaurant (view the images), in Germany and Austria, where some foodbloggers organized dinners based on Parmigiano-Reggiano (view the images).

In Italy, the "Parmigiano Reggiano Night" was launched live from the Consortium stand at the "Salone del Gusto", where everyone present could enjoy “Spaghetti aglio, olio e Parmigiano-Reggiano”, a dish of spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and Parmigiano-Reggiano prepared especially for the occasion.
