Frankfurt: journalists and bloggers join Parmigiano Reggiano’s cooking class

Frankfurt, 2 April 2019 - On Fiday, 29st March, Parmigiano Reggiano hosted an exclusive cookery course in Frankfurt to meet the press and German bloggers and show them the versatility and the carachteristics of the King of Cheeses. The event took place in the Kochschule Küchenwerk, a modern space with about ten stations equipped for cooking.

The event started with an introductory speech by the Press Office on the role and activities of the Consortium followed by a guided tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano 18 months, 24 months and 36 months. In a second moment the guests, under the guidance of chef Achim Löppert, prepared a four course menu whose protagonist was the King of Cheeses.

At the end of the cooking school, chefs, journalists and representatives of the Consortium sat at the table to enjoy the freshly prepared dishes together.

During the event, the food-photographer Markus Bassler showed journalists and bloggers how to properly photograph the dishes and the Parmgiano Reggiano cheese, thus promoting the sharing of posts, stories and pictures on social media.
