The press office of the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium offers the opportunity to enjoy guided tours of the dairies to see the cheese-makers at work on the antique craft of turning milk into Parmigiano Reggiano.
You'll have the opportunity to see the very early stages of the Parmigiano Reggiano production, which takes place only once a day, to the final storage in the maturation rooms for the slow aging of the cheese.

The guided visits last about 2 hours and start at 8:00am. They are free and available in Italian and other languages.
