The unique taste of Parmigiano Reggiano in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower

On Wednesday, May 30th, the French press were invited to find out more about Parmigiano Reggiano in an exclusive lunch designed by Chef Olivier Le Corre of the bistro Anna Restaurant in Paris.

Reggio Emilia, 31 May 2018 - After the London experience it was the turn of Paris where, on Tuesday, May 29, some of the most prominent journalists and bloggers of the French city were invited to the Anna restaurant in rue St Maur for a lunch focused on Parmigiano Reggiano.

From the appetizers to dessert, Chef Oliver Le Corre presented different maturation stages of the cheese, from the young 12-month one to the pronounced taste at 48 months, through an exclusive menu that let fragrances speak for themselves and uncover the world of Parmigiano Reggiano.

The lunch, part of the busy calendar of events organized by the Consortium and dedicated to the press and communication, was an opportunity for conveying important notions about Parmigiano Reggiano and above all about the features that differentiate it from other similar cheeses. The journalists and bloggers present were enthusiastic about the experience and posted about it in real time on social media, thus attracting the “virtual” involvement of hundreds of French cheese enthusiasts and foodies.
