Parmigiano Reggiano in Tokyo as a guest of the highly-anticipated “Cheese Festa” event

The Consortium will attend Cheese Festa 2015, to be held in Tokyo (Japan) on November 11 and 12

Reggio Emilia, 10th November 2015 - On Wednesday, 11 and Thursday, 12 November, all eyes in Tokyo, Japan, will be on the dairy world on Cheese Day, which has been celebrated annually for 24 years with the Cheese Festa event, and which Parmigiano Reggiano definitely cannot miss.

This year, in particular, Cheese Festa will be an opportunity to meet more than 300 students from the prestigious cooking school Ecole Tsuji and to conduct a class for them on Parmigiano Reggiano, which will be followed by a tasting of the cheese at three different maturation stages. In order to spread the use of the product in Japanese cuisine, we will demonstrate how to crack open a whole Parmigiano Reggiano wheel and show the most common uses of the cheese in the kitchen.
